The upcoming film “Gurram Paapireddy,” starring Naresh Agastya and Faria Abdullah in the lead roles, is directed by Murali Manohar. This highly anticipated movie is set to hit theaters on December 19th, 2025. After building excitement with unique promotions, a captivating teaser, an engaging trailer, and chart-topping songs, the production team hosted a grand pre-release press meet today.

With a positive atmosphere surrounding the project, the creators expressed their confidence in the film’s potential. Legendary comedian Brahmanandam attended the event as a special guest. He shared details about his involvement, stating, “I played an important role in ‘Gurram Paapireddy’ as a judge who narrates the story to the audience.” He described the story as different and praised director Murali Manohar for presenting it in a fresh manner, well-suited for today’s viewers.

Brahmanandam added that “Yogi Babu’s role will be a special attraction.” He noted that while he does not have combination scenes with Yogi Babu, the actor has delivered truly hilarious comedy in the movie. He also highlighted the strong performances from Jeevan Kumar, Raj Kumar Kasireddy, and Vamsidhar Kosigi in their respective parts, crediting the director for bringing out such talent.

He conveyed his strong conviction in the film’s success. Brahmanandam affirmed, “The producers made this film without compromising on quality.” He then appealed for audience support for new-age films created by newcomers, explaining that such encouragement helps the industry grow and offers more opportunities for making quality cinema.

The film features Yogi Babu, Prabhas Sreenu, Rajkumar Kasireddy, Jeevan Kumar, Vamsidhar Kosigi, John Vijay, and Motta Rajendran in key supporting roles. Venu Saddi, Amar Bura, and Jayakanth (Bobby) are the producers, with Dr. Sandhya Goli presenting the project.
