For the First Time, Pawan Gifted a Car to his Director

In a career first, actor Pawan Kalyan surprised everyone by giving a luxury car to one of his directors. The recipient was Sujeeth, who directed “They Call Him OG,” and this act quickly became a major discussion point within Tollywood.
Pawan Kalyan often praises his directors publicly, but his connection with Sujeeth appears different. Their strong relationship has been clear throughout the making, release, and success of “OG.” This recent gift simply made their bond even more apparent.
Sujeeth managed to bring out aspects of Pawan that audiences rarely witness. At the pre-release event, Pawan made a dramatic entrance in full costume, holding a katana. No other director had achieved such an appearance from him before.
Later, at the success celebration, Pawan joined Sujeeth and music director Thaman with a gun. He later explained that he did this purely out of deep affection for them both.

During the success gathering, Pawan spoke with feeling about his earlier directorial effort, “Johnny.” He shared that while he once felt disappointed with its outcome, he now feels glad he made the film, as it inspired Sujeeth to enter the film industry.
Pawan also mentioned that with a team like Sujeeth’s, “Johnny” could have become a major hit. He further confirmed plans for an “OG” sequel, even with his demanding political and administrative commitments, attributing this decision to Sujeeth’s dedication to filmmaking.
Fans now believe that Sujeeth earned this unique appreciation by providing Pawan with significant emotional satisfaction as an actor.
“They Call Him OG” earned approximately 300 crore at the box office, making it the highest-grossing Telugu film of 2025. The movie featured Priyanka Mohan, Emraan Hashmi, Arjun Das, and Shriya Reddy, with music by Thaman and production by DVV Entertainments.
