Actor Nandu is actively promoting his latest movie, “Psych Siddhartha,” which is set for release on December 12th. His recent speech at the trailer launch captured significant attention. During the event, Nandu expressed deep emotion, stating his belief that the film would achieve blockbuster status.
“I’ve dedicated nearly 18 years to my career,” Nandu shared. He drew a parallel to RCB, noting how even with a star like Virat Kohli, it took them 18 years to find success. Nandu declared he expects to achieve significant success with “Psych Siddhartha” after his own 18-year journey, confident that the first half will engage some viewers, and the second half will captivate all.
“I am certain this film will be a hit,” Nandu affirmed. He went on to promise that if the movie falls short, he would hold a press conference to apologize to both the media and the audience. He clarified that this bold statement comes from genuine belief in the project, not arrogance, proclaiming, “Ee Sala Hit Namdhe” (This time, the hit is ours).
Nandu recalled earning a good reputation from “Pelli Choopulu,” though he did not experience the same level of widespread success as his co-stars. He pointed out that Vijay Deverakonda, Ritu Varma, and Priyadarshi, among others from that film, went on to achieve major breakthroughs. Nandu feels it is now his turn, remembering how he wished for similar success during “Pelli Choopulu’s” triumph.
For many years, Nandu has consistently put in hard work. He has been involved in several major productions, often appearing as the second lead in successful movies. He noted that his performances consistently received praise, with no negative comments ever directed his way.
Nandu began his career with the film “Photo” and has since appeared in over 25 movies. With “Psych Siddhartha,” he takes on the role of producer for the first time, holding high hopes for the project. Yamini Bhaskar stars as the female lead, and Varun Reddy directed the film. Suresh Productions and Spirit Media are backing this venture.
