Deeply Disturbing: Sreeleela Responds to AI Abuse
The misuse of artificial intelligence has become more prevalent than its responsible application in recent times. Within the film industry, particularly in the glamour sector, this technological misuse is creating significant problems.
Many actresses have already voiced their concerns, asking audiences not to encourage such actions. Recently, Sreeleela, a prominent young actress in Telugu cinema over the past few years, shared her worries about the improper use of AI.
On Wednesday, Sreeleela posted on social media, appealing to all users. She wrote, “I put my hands together and request every social media user not to support AI-generated nonsense.” She emphasized a clear distinction between using technology and abusing it.
For her, technological advancements should simplify life, not complicate it. She highlighted that every woman, even those in the arts, is someone’s daughter, granddaughter, sister, friend, or colleague.
Actresses desire to work in an industry that brings happiness, trusting they are in a safe environment. Sreeleela admitted she was unaware of much online activity due to her busy schedule and thanked those who brought it to her attention.
While she usually takes things lightly, she described this situation as “deeply disturbing and devastating.” She also mentioned seeing her fellow colleagues facing similar issues and spoke on behalf of everyone affected.
With grace and confidence in her audience, Sreeleela asked for public support. She also confirmed that the authorities will be addressing the matter from this point forward.
Sreeleela’s recent film was Mass Jathara. Her upcoming projects include Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil productions. She is set to appear in Ustaad Bhagat Singh, Parasakti, and a Hindi romantic drama alongside Kartik Aaryan. She is also reportedly in discussions for Ajith Kumar’s next Tamil film, directed by Adhik Ravichandran.
