The film ‘Peddi,’ featuring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, under the direction of Buchi Babu Sana, is scheduled to hit theaters on March 27, 2026. With the release date drawing closer, the production team has intensified its filming pace.

Filmmakers initially planned to capture important scenes in Delhi, at sites like Rashtrapati Bhavan and Agrasen ki Baoli. This part of the schedule faced a delay of several months for different reasons. Reports suggest these Delhi portions will take four to five days to complete. Most of the movie’s filming is now done, with only the climax and a special musical number remaining.

Ram Charan and the ‘Peddi’ crew recently traveled to Delhi to finish their scheduled filming there. As reported by Delhi Times, the shoot was re-planned in November after a bomb blast occurred near the Red Fort. On a recent Saturday morning, Ram Charan was seen shooting close to Rashtrapati Bhavan. Despite a three-hour hold-up caused by dense fog, filming proceeded later that morning, and the team also worked at Agrasen ki Baoli in the evening. This Delhi segment of the production is set for four days.

Director Buchi Babu Sana chose genuine locations to give the movie an authentic atmosphere, fitting its raw and rustic village setting. Filming at Rashtrapati Bhavan presented a significant challenge, as the crew spent months securing the necessary permits. Their persistence ultimately succeeded, enabling them to shoot at the renowned site as planned.

Once the Delhi filming concludes, the team will proceed with the climax sequence, then a special song, before finishing the whole movie. While rumors circulated about Kajal Aggarwal appearing in the special song, no official statement has confirmed this yet. ‘Peddi’ is a production of Venkata Satish Kilaru’s Vriddhi Cinemas, collaborating with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings. AR Rahman is creating the film’s musical score.
