Mega Powerstar Ram Charan has generated excitement globally with the initial glimpse and “Chikiri Chikiri” dance moves from his upcoming film, Peddi. The song, composed by AR Rahman, along with his cricket shot featured in the glimpse, have become popular hits, driving immense anticipation for the movie.
Veteran actor Jagapathi Babu joins the impressive cast as Appalasoori. He appears in a rough and disheveled style, which marks a notable change from his previous roles. The actor is seen with a thick grey beard and unkempt hair, wearing broken glasses held together by a piece of thread.
This appearance highlights the character’s intense and serious personality. His look clearly conveys his poverty and the daily struggles to provide for himself. Director Buchi Babu Sana has crafted a script that delivers a raw, gritty, and authentic story of Peddi on a grand scale, unlike anything seen before.
The director continues to build excitement with each new update. Producer Venkata Satish Kilaru is backing the movie with a lavish production budget, a scale not often witnessed in Indian Cinema. Peddi is set for release on March 27, 2026, and filming is currently in its final stages. Boman Irani has joined the cast, which also includes Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, alongside Shiva Rajkumar and Divyendu Sharma in important roles.
The excitement surrounding Peddi, featuring Ram Charan, Jagapathi Babu as Appalasoori, and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, continues to grow within the Tollywood film industry. This project brings together a talented team, promising a memorable cinematic experience.
