Rukmini Vasanth Joins Ram Charan & Sukumar’s Next Film

Superstar Ram Charan is currently occupied with the filming schedule for his upcoming movie, “Peddi.” Buchi Babu Sana directs this project, which stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead.

The release date for “Peddi” is set for March 2026, and the actor has confirmed it will not be delayed. Following this, Ram Charan will move on to his next venture, to be directed by Sukumar, known for “Pushpa.”

Mythri Movie Makers previously confirmed that the highly anticipated project between Charan and Sukumar will commence right after “Peddi.” Recent reports suggest that #RC17, as the film is tentatively known, will feature two leading ladies alongside Ram Charan.

Rukmini Vasanth, the Bengaluru actress recognized for her work in “Sapta Sagaraalu Daati” and “Kantara 2,” recently underwent a look test for a part. Director Sukumar was reportedly very impressed by her acting abilities and approved her immediately.

Her portrayal of a negative character in “Kantara 2” suggests Rukmini can handle diverse roles with confidence. Sukumar, a director known for crafting strong female characters such as Samantha’s in “Rangasthalam” and Rashmika’s in “Pushpa,” requires a capable actress for his films.

Rukmini appears to be a fitting choice to star opposite Ram Charan, bringing together this “Rangasthalam” combination once more.

This news highlights the ongoing developments for Ram Charan’s upcoming projects, particularly the highly anticipated collaboration with Sukumar, potentially featuring Rukmini Vasanth.
