Television anchor Suma Kanakala recently shared details about actor Prabhas and his ongoing support for an old age home located in Khammam, Telangana.
This discussion began after a fan requested Suma to talk about Prabhas in the comments section of a social media update. Suma explained that she helped establish an old age home in Khammam some years back. During that period, many public figures offered financial aid. Pawan Kalyan and Prabhas were among those who gave significant contributions to finish the building.
What truly distinguished Suma’s message was the continued assistance after the old age home’s completion. Prabhas, she disclosed, did not end his support once the structure was finished. He consistently sends funds each month to cover the daily requirements of the residents. Suma characterized this sustained dedication as uncommon within the film industry, commending Prabhas for his compassionate nature.
Suma also noted that the project gained assistance from the “Memu Saitham†show, and she expressed gratitude to Lakshmi Manchu for her participation. Her comments rapidly spread online, leading many fans to commend Prabhas for his steady and quiet philanthropic efforts.
Previously, Rajeev Kanakala, Suma’s husband, had discussed this topic on a podcast. He mentioned that filmmaker S. S. Rajamouli also made a contribution, but Prabhas maintains his regular donations even now. Rajeev described this act as genuinely commendable.
Regarding his professional commitments, Prabhas’s most recent appearances were in Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire and Kalki 2898 AD. His next film, The Raja Saab, is scheduled for a Sankranthi 2026 release. Additionally, he is involved in projects titled Fauzi and Spirit.
This revelation by Suma Kanakala highlights a lesser-known aspect of Prabhas’s character, reinforcing his reputation beyond the silver screen. His consistent, quiet support for the old age home has been met with positive reception from fans and the industry alike.
