Sankranthi 2026: These Heroines Lead the Glam Wave

Published on:

Sankranthi 2026 is shaping up to be one of the most crowded and high-profile festive seasons in Telugu cinema. The focus isn’t just on star heroes and big directors; heroines setting the glamorous mood are also firmly in the spotlight. Interestingly, three heroines are currently leading this trend, and they all appeared in a single film.

Among all the upcoming Sankranthi releases, Prabhas’ The Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi, has generated considerable excitement regarding its heroines. Nidhie Aggerwal, Malavika Mohanan, and Ridhi Kumar, all three starlets, have captured attention with their glamorous yet elegant screen presence. This trio quickly became one of the most discussed heroine line-ups for the festival season.

Other Sankranthi 2026 releases also feature strong female leads, but with different positioning. Nayanthara and Catherine Tresa are appearing opposite Chiranjeevi in Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu, though the glamorous aspect of their roles might have been reduced.

Even though Ashika Ranganathan attempted bikini teasing and Dimple Hayathi opted for saree charming, their film, Raviteja’s Bhartha Mahaseyulaku Wignyapthi, has not yet made them subjects of discussion as leading ladies. The situation is similar for Meenakshi Chaudhary, who impressed in Naveen Polishetty’s Anaganana Oka Raju.

Without sufficient promotions for Sharwa’s Nari Nari Naduma Murari, heroines Samyuktha Menon and Sakshi Vaidya are not even being remembered by movie lovers, let alone gaining glamorous attention. A single well-placed teaser or song could otherwise change the fortunes of these actresses.
