Good Job Akkineni Family – A Big Donation For ANR College

Actor Akkineni Nagarjuna recently contributed Rs 2 crore to ANR College in Gudivada, Andhra Pradesh. This significant gift, made on Wednesday, will fund student scholarships as the college marks its Diamond Jubilee.

As the chief guest, Nagarjuna officially opened a new building on the campus. He also honored his father, the esteemed actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao, who gave Rs 1 lakh to the institution back in 1959. Nagarjuna expressed that his father held education in high regard, working to help many individuals achieve their potential despite lacking formal schooling himself.

Several notable figures, including Gudivada MLA Venigandla Ramu, attended the event. The college, established in 1950, gratefully accepted the donation and extended its thanks to Nagarjuna for his commitment to education.
