The third installment of the Avatar series premiered in Indian cinemas earlier this month and maintains a robust domestic run. Its box office results in India clearly demonstrate its widespread appeal across various languages and regions nationwide.

Looking at the language-wise gross figures, the English version led contributions with an an impressive ₹76.02 crore. This confirms the director’s significant draw among urban and premium viewers. The Hindi version came in next, collecting ₹57.48 crore, which indicates strong acceptance in the North Indian territories.

Tamil audiences added ₹25.53 crore, and the Telugu version brought in ₹15.09 crore. Even in smaller markets, the film achieved significant figures. The Kannada version earned ₹52.65 lakhs, and the Malayalam version collected ₹18.35 lakhs.

From a state-wise view, the North circuit led the collections with a strong gross of ₹90.92 crore. This confirms the film’s popularity in regions with many multiplexes. Tamil Nadu followed with ₹32.55 crore, showing consistent audience attendance even with varied critical responses.

The Telugu states collectively contributed ₹23.29 crore. Karnataka recorded ₹19.82 crore, and Kerala added ₹8.25 crore to the total earnings.

Even with varied feedback from audiences and critics, the film has achieved a respectable gross in the Indian market and maintains its strong position for an extended run. This outcome highlights James Cameron’s status as a global brand, whose films consistently attract viewers across different countries and linguistic groups.
