The film Champion, starring Roshan Meka and Anaswara Rajan, premiered during the Christmas holidays. It achieved a significant opening, collecting over Rs. 4.5 crores on its first day. Following this strong start, the filmmakers organized a special success meet to mark the celebratory occasion.

At the event, producer Swapna Dutt shared that director Pradeep Advaitam presented her with a one-page synopsis for Champion, which she immediately found appealing. She explained that her commitments to Kalki 2898 AD subsequently caused the movie to remain in production for an extended period.

Swapna Dutt extended her gratitude to Roshan Meka for his three-year patient wait for the film’s release. She also thanked every cast and crew member for their full dedication in bringing the project to fruition. Roshan Meka, in turn, expressed similar appreciation for Swapna Dutt, affectionately referring to her as his elder sister.

Roshan continued his speech by thanking the director, Anaswara, Raccha Ravi, and all others involved, stating he would fondly remember every moment from the sets. He also mentioned his happiness that their hard work was receiving such widespread recognition and urged audiences to experience the film exclusively in theaters.
