Kiran Kumar, the director recognized for leading Nagarjuna’s film Kedi, has passed away today. This announcement has come as a significant shock to many within the industry.

His sudden departure has saddened numerous individuals, particularly as he had recently made an impression as an actor. He was also in the process of planning a successful return to directing.

Kumar’s final project as a director was KJQ King Jackie Queen, which had already completed filming and is currently in its post-production phase. Before his work on Kedi, he gained experience by assisting Mani Ratnam on several films.

He was last seen on screen portraying a CBI officer in Vijay Anthony’s Bhadrakali. While the reason for his death is not yet clear, we offer our condolences.
