Viral Video: Mahavatar Narsimha Screened In Pakistan
Mahavatar Narsimha stands as a highly successful animated devotional film from this year’s theatrical releases. This movie quickly became a major box-office hit. First launched in Kannada, it was then translated into other languages, where it also found a massive audience. Unexpectedly, the film made its way to Karachi, Pakistan.
A significant crowd in Karachi, Pakistan, attended a screening of the film. While Pakistan is a predominantly Islamic nation, it has a Hindu minority population. This public showing at the Swami Narayan Mandir in Karachi drew global attention. Footage from the event is now widely circulating online. If this positive reception continues, more similar films could potentially be shown in Pakistan soon.
An animated feature earning 300 Cr was unforeseen, yet it achieved significant box office milestones. The movie also recently received an Oscar nomination. Mahavatar Narsimha serves as the opening chapter in a planned seven-part animated saga, the Mahavatar Cinematic Universe.
Ashwin Kumar directed the film, with Kleem Productions providing the funding. Hombale Films handled its distribution.
