Rocking Star Manchu Manoj’s next project carries the title “David Reddy.” Directed by Hanuma Reddy Yakkanti, this historical action drama is set between 1897 and 1922, focusing on India’s fight for independence.
The filmmakers recently launched a first look at a grand event. This preview, called “Speed of David Reddy,” hints at a rebellious central theme for the movie.
Manchu Manoj appears in a fresh, never-before-seen role as David Reddy. His performance promises to be powerful and genuine, bringing both passion and fierce determination to this period story.
The “Speed of David Reddy” preview introduces a bike named War Dog, along with its backstory, presented with considerable impact. A character in the glimpse describes a rebel who fought against the British, drawing comparisons to figures like Bhagat Singh and Subhash Chandra Bose, yet faced misunderstanding from his own nation.
The visuals in the preview are striking, with a raw and gritty feel that adds to its power. Manchu Manoj’s physical change for the role is remarkable, and his imposing appearance immediately captures attention.
Ravi Basrur’s excellent musical score and Acharya Venu’s compelling cinematography further elevate “Speed of David Reddy.” This initial look serves as an ideal introduction for the upcoming pan-India film.
“David Reddy” will have a worldwide release in English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. The production team also confirmed that filming has officially commenced. Motukuri Bharath and Nallagangula Venkat Reddy are producing the movie under the Velvet Soul Motion Pictures banner, with Hanuma Reddy Yakkanti at the helm.
