Naga Vamsi Confused About Raviteja Film’s Failure

Published on:

Tollywood producer Naga Vamsi is actively promoting his upcoming Sankranthi release, Anaganana Oka Raju. As expected during these promotional events, discussions often turn to past projects and their outcomes. Vamsi is known for speaking his mind freely in these situations.

Before the release of the film War 2, Vamsi made a statement: he wouldn’t urge audiences to watch his movies if the Jr NTR starrer didn’t succeed. Later, while promoting Raviteja’s Mass Jathara, he mentioned that public appearances had become challenging due to trolling. Despite this, he assured everyone that Mass Jathara would be a success. To his astonishment, that film also did not perform well.

Vamsi openly expressed his uncertainty, stating, ‘Don’t know where things went wrong with Mass Jathara.’ He speculated, ‘Maybe Rajendra Prasad and Sreeleela’s comedy scenes didn’t connect. Or Bheems’ score and songs lacked impact.’ Vamsi frankly acknowledged that the result was perplexing, particularly given the significant effort and resources put into the film.

He also discussed the unpredictable nature of audience preferences, pointing out that success isn’t guaranteed for every film, even those made with good intentions and substantial support.

With Vamsi now presenting Anaganana Oka Raju, we await to see how his confidence translates into the film’s performance.
