Pan-India star Prabhas recently shared a special Instagram status, appreciating the success of the Telugu film Shambhala. He congratulated actor Aadi Saikumar and the entire team for delivering a “fantastic blockbuster.” This post quickly caught the attention of movie lovers, as Prabhas rarely offers such public praise for films outside his own projects. His encouragement has added more interest around the movie’s theatrical run.

Shambhala premiered during a busy festive season, yet the film managed to draw good audiences to theaters. Box office tracking reports show the movie earned about Rs 1.5 crore on its opening day. On Day 2, collections increased with an additional Rs 1.05 crore. This brought the film’s total box office collection to approximately Rs 2.55 crore within two days, a positive indicator for a content-driven film.

Theater occupancy numbers also show consistent growth. Morning shows began at a moderate level, but attendance improved as the day went on. Evening and night shows recorded higher footfalls, suggesting positive word-of-mouth among viewers. Many preferred watching the film during late hours, especially because of its mystery and supernatural elements.

Social media reactions to Shambhala have been largely positive. Many viewers commended the film’s engaging narration, emotional moments, and strong second half. The flashback portion and climax received appreciation for keeping the audience captivated until the end.

Ugandhar Muni directed the film, which centers on Vikram, a geoscientist who strongly believes in science and logic. When a meteor falls in a remote village and strange events begin, villagers suspect evil forces. Vikram enters the village to uncover the truth behind these occurrences, challenging blind beliefs and superstition.

The film stars Aadi Saikumar in the lead role, alongside Archana Iyerr and a strong supporting cast including Ravi Varma, Swasika Vijay, Harsha Vardhan, and others.

Prabhas’s rare public endorsement has certainly amplified the conversation around Shambhala, contributing to its growing visibility among moviegoers.
