Bijli mentioned that the company’s average ticket price currently sits at Rs 259. He believes this price point is accessible to a significant portion of moviegoers across India.

Bijli clarified that popcorn at PVR cinemas begins at Rs 159, stressing that customers can choose from various pricing options based on portion size and location.
Bijli explained that multiplexes operate in prime real estate locations. He noted that they incur substantially higher operational expenses, including rent, electricity, staffing, and maintenance, all of which naturally influence their pricing structures.
Bijli also detailed that ticket prices vary depending on the city, cinema format, and show timing. He pointed out that weekday and morning shows are frequently available at reduced rates. He affirmed that cinemas remain dedicated to providing value while ensuring quality viewing experiences, modern projection systems, and improved comfort.
