Raja Saab Bollywood Promotions: What’s the Plan?

Published on:

Superstar Prabhas’s immense popularity in the Hindi-speaking regions, solidified by films like Baahubali, Saaho, Adipurush, and Salaar, has set high expectations for how Raja Saab will be presented to North Indian viewers. As the film prepares for a major pan-India release, focus has moved to its Bollywood promotional strategy, particularly in Mumbai. Many are curious about the team’s approach, especially since producer People Media Factory previously achieved great success with their Mumbai promotions for Mirai.

Prabhas continues to command a significant fan base across the Hindi belt, following his roles in Baahubali, Saaho, Adipurush, and Salaar. This makes the positioning of Raja Saab for North Indian audiences a key point of interest. Given that the movie is a horror fantasy comedy, it is expected to attract a large audience in these regions. Trade insiders are eager to learn if the promotional activities will consist solely of media interviews or if a grand Mumbai event, featuring Prabhas himself, is being planned.

Specific interviews with prominent Hindi media outlets, or a structured press conference involving Prabhas, director Maruthi, and the three lead actresses—Nidhie, Malavika, and Riddhi—are potential options. However, details remain unconfirmed at this time. Rumors suggest Prabhas is currently enjoying a short New Year break from his busy schedule. Consequently, the extent of Mumbai promotions will largely be determined by Prabhas’s schedule and presence.

The film, produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and directed by Maruthi, is scheduled to release on January 9th. Raja Saab is set to be the first Sankranthi offering for audiences across India.
