Hyderabad is again at the center of a significant drug investigation, and the film industry, Tollywood, has predictably become involved. Actress Rakul Preet Singh’s brother, Aman Preet Singh, has been named in the current Masab Tank drug case.

Reports indicate that a combined effort by Masab Tank Police and the Telangana EAGLE (Elite Action Group for Drug Law Enforcement) team resulted in the arrest of two businessmen, Nitin Singhania and Shranik Singhvi, from Troop Bazaar. During the raid, officials confiscated 43 grams of cocaine and MDMA. Interrogations revealed that these individuals had only four major clients, with Aman Preet Singh identified as one of them.

This marks another instance where Aman’s name has appeared in drug investigations. Cyberabad police previously arrested him in 2024 for a separate narcotics case. On that occasion, police seized nearly 200 grams of cocaine, and Aman was identified as a user, testing positive for cocaine.

The repeated involvement of Rakul Preet’s brother inevitably draws public attention to her. A previous drug case involving Tollywood celebrities saw figures like Raviteja, Rakul Preet herself, Puri Jagan, and Charmme called in for questioning.

This ongoing situation highlights the persistent issues surrounding drug cases in Hyderabad, particularly those connected to Tollywood figures like Aman Preet Singh, and the efforts of the Telangana Police and EAGLE team in combating cocaine and MDMA trafficking.
