Thalapathy Vijay stands as a colossal figure in Tamil cinema, consistently delivering strong box office performances across South India. His much-anticipated farewell film, ‘Jana Nayagan,’ is slated for release on January 9. A significant promotional event for the movie just concluded in Malaysia yesterday.
However, a challenging and potentially harmful incident unfolded at Chennai Airport as Vijay made his return journey from Malaysia.
A video circulating online captures the alarming moment Thalapathy Vijay was swarmed by an overwhelming crowd of fans at the airport. The intense and uncontrolled pushing and pulling caused him to lose his footing, resulting in a fall near his waiting car.
An immense gathering had formed at the airport, eager to greet Vijay, which quickly devolved into a chaotic scene. Security personnel found themselves unable to manage the sheer physical force of the crowd, leading directly to Vijay’s fall in front of his vehicle.
Fortunately, the actor managed to avoid any significant injuries at the scene. Despite this, the nature of the incident clearly indicates a need for enhanced security protocols for public figures of his stature.
This event echoes similar past occurrences where actresses Samantha and Nidhii Agerwal also faced physical discomfort from unmanageable crowds at public appearances. It is deeply concerning that even a superstar like Thalapathy Vijay has encountered such a situation, which is far from what is expected for someone of his immense fame and influence.
